The objective of the market is to offer/exchange minerals with other willing players. However, it's currently being used as a daycare center for excess resources. I don't think the transporter was intended for this purpose.

Players will post their offers and since the resources are posted to the market, they are safe from raids and storage limits; it defeats the purpose of the shifter, the biosphere, and the storage facility.

The best solution to the problem is to 'reserve' the resources to each person. Resources are not taken from a person until someone accepts the trade. Reserved resources cannot be spent of course, unless the offer is cancelled.

In summary: Providing a reserve method of resource exchange will weed out the serious traders from the people just looking to hide their resources from raids. Besides, there's already other methods of laundering money around, go use those instead.

Or...if this is a bad idea, do something! Bring Trading back to the Transporter!
