I have heard about this post from a friend on the Harbinger Server. I am playing only on that server. I started on 2010-03-19 and I am the top player there (probably not for long

, but still... )
Let me share my experience with this game so far. When I joined I played for a week or something and the server crashed... as a result I lost my account, but it was a good thing for me because I started again and made fewer errors

. Back then there was a much stronger alliance than the rest combined containing a few top players, alliance which was terrorizing the whole server. They attacked anyone who they thought might have some unprotected resources. After a while they destroyed the second most powerful alliance, their domination increasing even more. In time I grew a little and entered top 5 players; and then the real "terror" started: for 1 or 2 weeks all my outposts were attacked every single day, more than once a day, by the top player back then. He had no mercy, I think he thought I will quit. This was the general thinking on that server. Finally I was left alone when I prepared an ambush and he lost a lot of troops. And then the unbelievable happened: there was one guy who showed us the way to stand against a more powerful and aggressive force. We (almost the whole server) worked together and fought back. In about 1 week we prevailed. Now the server is a much more stable place and there is equilibrium. All this was made possible by this "reinforce bug". Otherwise there would still be only one powerful alliance dominating everything.
I think that the "reinforce bug" actually saved Harbinger. Otherwise I think at most half the number of players would be here on Harbinger.
If this bug is "solved" I think there is a big risk that Harbinger will go back to its "dark ages". I don't know about Prime as I'm not playing on that, but I think the "instant reinforce" should be kept in one form or another for Harbinger.
