so from what has been posted in this thread, am I correct in assuming troops can excede population limit?

Yeah, you can have an unlimited amount of extra troops in your base, but when they do exceed the population limit you cant build more buildings or units until they are out of you base and not taking up population

ya food does go negative but i think wen it goes negative its the same as +- 0
