Troops and food?
I read somewhere that ur troops consume food, is this on a per hour basis?

Yes, for example
Player makes 500 food an hour, they have 120 marines, they then make 380 food a hour, then tax on production is applied.

aha I see, so basicly 1 marine will consume 1 unit of food per hour. thx for that

Just keep them out on long distance attacks when you go offline, it will produce more food, and keep your units alive.
