Re: Oups! All our force
Claim: An error in Asgard Heroes has resulted in ZergerBurgers losing an army of 894 Disturbia and 382 Valhalla during an attack that would not have produced total destruction of forces; The army should be restored on grounds of "Game not functioning as intended."
Abstract: User 'ZergerBurgers' (Planned Parenthood: Colony ID 8735) launched a series of attacks on User 'Terrukallan' (Ard'Mara: Colony ID 7344.) ZergerBurgers concluded that Ard'Mara: Colony ID 7344, was of no threat to Colony ID 8735 and deemed it safe to raid the base for resources and the possibility of capture. Conclusion is based on grounds of Army size (30000 or more vs. 200 or less.) After successful 3 raids and 2 successful attacks which resulted in destruction of buildings, ZergerBurgers Fleet disappeared into the void; An erroneous battle report was displayed with poor semantic and grammar justification, attached to the bottom of this report.

Evidence 1: Base was safe to Raid. The first attack was reconnaissance by 342 Agents, designed to assess whether or not an army exists at the base. Agents report no army (or any army that's smaller than 200 troops.) Actual report shows that Ard'Mara contained 200 templars. Base was also safe to raid because user Terrukallan was not logged in and unavailable to provided any resistance during the 30 minute attack that commenced.
Evidence 2: The first Raids and attacks were sucessful. ZergerBurgers launched a series of attacks on Ard'Mara with little to no resistance; Resources were looted, and several buildings were reduced to Level 0. ZergerBurgers attacked from Planned Parenthood with a ground force exceeding 30,000 units in size. A tiny handful of units were lost in the attack
Evidence 3: Base was STILL SAFE to raid after the loss. 341 Agents were sent to perform reconaissance on Ard'Mara. Agents report that no army exists at Ard'Mara. Daily reconaissance on Ard'Mara shows that for several days after the attack, no army has existed. Today, Ard'Mara has an army of about 300 troops. At no point before, during, or after the attack, did Ard'Mara EVER have an army capable of knocking out 1200 ships, even with a hypothetical lvl 30 Wraith Pylon and Ground Battery.
I will know take an opportunity to discuss some common objections in my plea.
Refute 1: One objection to this argument by -Ori-, a credible and experienced player, is that Fraudulent activity may be present on behalf of ZergerBurgers. This is based on his following warrant: Battle Reports for Attack Missions consist of Enemy Army information at the bottom of the screen, and ZergerBurgers evidence shows a blacked out section where the enemy army would normally exist. This objection is rebutted by the Asgard Style-Guide. A style-guide is an agreement between developers and project managers on universal formatting and layout of game elements. Examples of elements of style include: a 1 inch border of black between the Battle Report and the Border, then another 1" between the border and the advertisement, etc. The process of blacking out the enemy fleet would produce several identifiable errors in the formatting of the screenshot. A) There'd be a larger black gap between the components of the Battle Report. If further corrections were attempted, errors in graphic patterns (ie: the primary Border) would exist and be easy to detect. Furthermore, ZergerBurgers is artistically challenged in literally every way possible; Graphic modification would be out of his scope completely. Many elements (albeit circumstantial evidence) compliment the integrity of the screenshot, including the web address of the original report (which can be recalled by developers) and the presence of the web browser.
Refute 2: Another objection to this argument is that Terrukallan was able to assemble an army large enough to demolish 1200 ships in between the torrent of attacks. This objection is plausible but improbable for two reasons: Assembling an army consisting of 1200 troops or more is improbable because of troop burst limit of 999; Daily reconnaissance after the attack would show the remaining portion of any army. In Evidence #3, it is stated that Reconnaissance has detected no military presence before, during, or after the unexpected error.
Refute 3: As part of an effort to keep ZergerBurgers honest, users and develops can question ZergerBurger's credibility (intellectually or ethically) by attacking the location of his argument. He posted his argument on the Draco Server, rather than the Prime War server. This argument is abstained because the Prime War forum is locked, and posting by ZergerBurgers is denied. Due to the severity and frequency of multiple errors on Prime War, it's considered Kosher to request help from developers on the Draco forum, as long as activity is kept to a minimum. Considering how many errors there are to report on Prime War, it's considered socially acceptable by posting this one issue to the Newer forum.
Refute 4: One social objection to ZergerBurger's argument is "Why don't you go make some more, loser?" This objection is acknowledged as a very valid refute! In fact, ZergerBurgers has been working diligently to restore the lost Disturbia. Social gaming psychology plays an important role in restoring the lost fleet. User interest is maintained by his/her accomplishments as they progress through the game. When you place a user in a losing situation beyond his/her control, outside of the scope of the game, on multiple occasions, then the user experiences game fatigue and loses morale. This is the fundamental basis behind every game in existence. Furthermore, military competition is very difficult due to extreme army sizes, which exponentially doubles the lost morale and fatigue experienced by erroneous game setbacks. In a nutshell: It took a million years to make these units, and to have them vanish by the invisible finger of god is enough make any user stop playing. The plethora of abandoned bases serves as a solid backing for this theory too.
Refute 5: A final objection to date is that a genuine game event is occurring that randomly eradicates armies under certain conditions. This objection is dismissed as false: in a forum discussion, the two active moderators would simply state that the event is working as intended, rather than asking for more information or buying more time. The lack of participation on moderator behalf on the lack of knowledge from the user base indicates that this event is unplanned and unheard of; An error! (Note that it does NOT indicate that they're horrible people!!! Don't go there.)
Conclusion: The attack on Terrukallan was a guarenteed success according to intended game mechanics. The loss of a 1200 unit fleet was a genuine flaw in the original or incremental (progressive or event-specific) game design, and ZergerBurgers is very humbly requesting that his fleet be restored.
