Indeed, but I can produce almost 250 BC an hour, and I am not one of the big players.... Too me I have three times as much BC then I do food, when I focus on BC..

i can make 700 food a hour and i can only make 400 bc a hour to me bc has more value than food

Why? All you have to do is full up your storage, set max tax, and get lot AND LOTS of BC..


If I have full energy and food...I set tax to 120% I make almost 1.2k BC a hour at that point...Now imagine someone of unicron's size, doing that...Math shows if I was most intent on getting BC, I could produce it at twice the rate of my food.

100% of my production would be turned into BC but, I am not clearly going for that..It would stunt my development too much.

Just so everyone knows, your "maintenance" population cost food to feed in addition to your army. I think the ratio is something like 1/3 to 1/2 food per pop, haven't really figured out the exact number. So having a big colony without upgrading your farm is actually going to hurt your food production.

Another piece of info you might all want to keep in mind is that food to BC conversion ratio is around 4 for taxing. As in 4 food converts to 1 BC when calculating tax. Presumably the ratio is similar when food fills up. So any colony can always produce way more food than BC when setting taxes appropriately. With that said, people occasionally haul in lots of BC from raiding or has so much upkeep and army that there food generation can't keep up so the price of food can fluctuate quite a lot based on supply and demand. Nevertheless, I really don't see myself buying food at more than 1 BC each.

I explained the BC farming method to skyguy, ALL resource production is converted at 3:1 ratio when full... So at 140% tax, I can make 480 BC off my food production..Then add tax from other resources which if full would push it up for me almost to 1.5k. SO anyone without a army and 500 population like me can get LARGE amount of BC with ease. IT WILL NOT BE DISPLAYED, but it would be there.

Upkeep is factored before this.

I can make about 35400 BC a day. About 15k more then I can make with food a day.
Food produces me when full about 480 BC
Energy would produce me about 330 BC
Argon about 350 BC
Energy would produce about 330 BC
That would be for like an hour.
