Infantry strength

If i have one base with marines fully upgraded and another with no upgrades. Do the marines with no upgrades take on the upgrades when i move them to the colony with fully upgraded or is the marines stats purely based on the barracks which it is produced from?

after you upgrade the unit is the upgrade applied instantly to all of your troops there or is it only for the new troops you make

I think the upgrade only works on the marines in the outposts with the upgrades. if you do not have upgrades in the outpost, then the marines will have no upgrades no matter where they come from.

When you attack they still have the outpost upgrades.

so the upgrade only lowers if you reinforce a outpost with the troops ill explain it when i get on The computer instead of my wii

Let me explain it more clear..

Your units do not carry the upgrade, but it is used for any units that attack or defend from said outpost.
