A.k.a. the "Abandoned outpost" special event that I've alluded to in private messages. Here's the back story.

With all of the dolphins ascended, the outposts of the Dolphin Collective have been left to ruin. However, the robotic guards left behind continues to carry their primary function, guard the treasures.

I will turn three of my outposts into BC repositories and post guards on each. The outposts names are: Oceanus, Shark Bait, and Bermuda. They will be spread out in the galaxy. Your mission, is to overcome the guards at each outpost and get at my treasures. But there are a few rules:

1) This special event will last exactly one week starting at 23:59 server time, Monday, 1-18-2010.
2) Initially, there will be a lot of guards at each outposts such that the amount of resources needed to replenish your attacking army will exceed the amount of resources you can loot from the outpost. (trust me, I've done the calculations)
3) At a random time on each day, I will reduce the number of guards at each outpost such that by the end of the event there will be practically no guards. (The robots are breaking down due to lack of maintenance)
4) Resources are continually being generated at each outposts.
5) When the resources on one outposts has been depleted, everything under shifter will be transported to the remaining outpost(s) thus increasing the worth of the remaining outposts.
6) Whoever depletes the resources on the very last outpost also get everything under the shifter (I'll send it by transport).

And so you must decide for yourself when you should attack each abandoned outposts. If you attack too early, you'll suffer a lot of damage and get little loot and making it more lucrative for other players to attack. If you attack too late, the resources will be gone. I have size the guards such that each major alliance can pool their resources together and tackle at least 1-2 outposts.
