Re: My raids
I can reply that one, since I also went through it.
It starts giving out food only, until food start to run low in that outpost, at which point it start giving a little food and the normal resource.
1 outpost took me about 15 men sent raiding before it started to give its resource instead of only food.
So basically, keep raiding it even if you waste its food, to get to the resource.

Re: My raids
well here's what i noticed. when i send only 2 troops i only get food. then as i have more and sent 3, i get others. maybe just need more men to rummage their stores.
i also noticed current capacity for storage is "per resource". should be shown in the current capacity within storage page. i thought it was total capacity.

Re: My raids
It is definitely total capacity per trooper, from what I got so far.
Examples using 2 Space marines, capacity 165 goods each, total 330 goods:
Resource looted:
7 0 207 0 0
(Total 214)
Resource looted:
87 243 0 0 0
(Total 330 exactly)

Re: My raids
actually, i meant the storage building. but now i realize that it is total max capacity. not per resource. i only thought that because the returning troops were carrying things and i thought it'd either be junked or convert to BC, but instead it stack up. but now that i look again, nothing is "producing", simply stacking from raids.
Re: My raids
I am getting so much more from raids (until raided outposts run out) at the moment that my level of resource production are only relevant for BC production (from conversion when one is full).
Although now that my 3 nearest NPC outposts are running dry, I have to start looting outposts further away, and my own production becomes more relevant.
Local production does seem small in comparison, but is still significant over time.
For instance I was about 400 or 500 away from max storage per resource before I went to bed yesterday.
When I checked this morning, all was full again.
Then I increased the level of both storage buildings, and off looting I go again.

Re: My raids
ya anytime you raid anything weather it be a mine or a player it always starts with Food then with mines to the type of resource it produces. mines generate resources over time so thats why you get 15 food and 500 of x type of resource when you get through the food same for players you deplete food storage first then down the line so it will take alot of troops to get into someones BC. If ya want to mine faster build more marines to burn through them faster
